Yes, almost without exception, a carport requires a permit from the municipal building control (usually a permit for an operation or a building permit, depending on the size). We will provide you with the main drawings of the project, which are required as an attachment to the permit application. However, the housing company must appoint a lead designer for the project, who is responsible for managing the permit process for the municipality.
How is the project progressing and how long will it take?
The project typically progresses as follows: 1) Design and quotation, 2) Permit process with the municipality, 3) Fabrication of materials at our factory, and 4) Delivery and erection. The design phase is quick, but the duration of the permit process varies by municipality (usually 1–3 months). Our delivery time is negotiable, and the actual erection on site is quick, usually only a few days.
Can the appearance of the canopy be customized to match the look of the housing company?
Yes, absolutely. This is one of our strengths. You can choose the facade cladding material (e.g. vertical or horizontal panel), color, roof model (e.g. hipped or gable roof) and roofing material so that the canopy fits seamlessly into the architecture of the main building.

How is electric car charging taken into account?
We design the canopy structures in advance so that the cabling and installation of the electric car charging points is as easy and clean as possible later. For example, we can take into account the necessary penetrations and piping routes in the structures. We do not supply the charging devices themselves, but we make their installation effortless.
What exactly does the delivery package include?
Our comprehensive delivery package typically includes all timber structural components (either as elements or pre-cut parts), facade cladding, roof structures, necessary fasteners, and detailed installation instructions and drawings. The delivery does not cover foundations, electrical or HVAC work, or surface painting, unless otherwise agreed.
