Services for your building project
Our services take the work out of getting a new home built: advice before you commit, drawings, machining and transport to your site. We also supply log cabins, outdoor sauna cabins and panelised timber. Everything is cut from slow-grown northern timber and checked against your specification before it leaves the factory.

Advisory services
Most of what makes a build go well or badly is decided before anything is ordered. That’s why our advisory service runs the length of the project. Our advisers listen first, then stay with you from the first sketch through design and on to the finished building.
They help you weigh up the options against your budget, and they will tell you what your local Building Regulations and planning process mean for the package we supply – including which drawings and certificates your authority will want.
Together we put together a plan that accounts for every detail and delivers the result you pictured. Our advisers stay with you the whole way, so you can move the project forward with confidence.
Design services
We draw every building in 3D CAD, so the joints, openings and services are resolved before a single log is machined. Send us a sketch, an architect's plan or your planning drawings and we will work up the details with you, then turn them into a cutting list and assembly drawings your crew can build from.
Transport services
We arrange transport from our mill to your site, anywhere in the world. Over 20 years of export deliveries means the loading, the documentation and the customs paperwork are routine rather than an experiment. You get the delivery date with the quote.
Erection support
Erection is normally done by your own crew or a local contractor. We support them: assembly drawings, a numbered package in build order, and a named contact who answers questions while the building goes up. Polarlog does not erect buildings and has no construction crew of its own; our partners in Norway, Germany and Sweden handle local dealings only.
Weathertight shell package
Our weathertight shell package offers a comprehensive solution for construction projects. The package includes everything needed to create a building frame and external protection, including the roof covering, load-bearing structures and the roof substructure. It is a straightforward way to start a build, because every basic structure and every weather-protection component arrives in one purchase.
We design and manufacture the package for quality and durability. Good materials and careful design mean the building stands up to time and weather while staying safe and comfortable for the people using it.
