How long is the delivery time for a round log cabin?
Delivery time varies depending on the order volume and season, but it is typically around 3–5 months from the date of signing the contract. You will always receive a more detailed schedule with your quote. We strive to keep our most popular cottage models in production at all times, which can speed up the process.
Do I need a building permit for a cottage?
Yes, almost without exception, a building over 30 square meters requires a building permit from the local municipality. The customer is responsible for applying for the permit themselves, but we will assist in the process by providing all necessary main drawings (ground plan, facade and sectional views), which will be attached to the permit application.
Can the layout of ready-made models be changed?
Yes, absolutely! Each of our ready-made models is more of a starting point and a source of inspiration. Our own designers will modify the floor plan, window positions and room layout according to your wishes without any additional costs. We want you to have exactly the kind of cottage you have always wanted.
What does the delivery package practically include?
This is an important question. We generally offer three different scopes of delivery:
Frame delivery: Includes only numbered log parts.
Weatherproof installation: A more extensive package that includes, in addition to the frame, waterproofing materials and installed windows.
Ready-to-move-in delivery: A completely turnkey solution where we take care of everything from the foundations to the final moldings.
We always explain in the offer precisely and clearly what is included in the selected scope of delivery.
Is a round log cabin warm enough for year-round use?
Yes, it is. With the right log thickness (e.g. 230 mm or more), modern insulation solutions and high-quality windows, a round log cabin is very energy efficient and warm even in the coldest weather. All of our cabins, designed for year-round use, meet Finland's strict energy regulations.
What do I need to do before the cottage package arrives at the property?
Before delivery, the site must have foundations in place that comply with the building permit and have been made by a professional. It is also important to ensure that the road leading to the site is strong enough for a heavy vehicle to ensure safe delivery. We will provide accurate foundation measurements well in advance of delivery.
