Finnish log homes and log products, supplied at any stage
We cut, plane and glue log products in Finland and ship them worldwide. You can buy the profiled blanks for your own production, the machined logs for a building you are erecting, or the complete house package with drawings and fittings. The material is the same at every level; only the amount of work left to you changes.
Three log products: CLT log, round log, and solid or laminated profiled log. Each has a different reason to exist – shape stability, appearance, price – and we will tell you plainly which one suits your project, your climate and your budget.
Slow growth is the whole point. This far north the summer is short, so the annual rings sit close together and the timber is dense. Dense timber moves less, holds a profile better and takes a finish more evenly. That is the reason people import Finnish log rather than buying it closer to home.

What we can supply
Profiled log blanks and beams by the load, for customers with their own production line. CLT logs in 135, 204 and 270 mm. Round logs from 150 to 300 mm in diameter, turned from a single stem or glued from several. Precut kit frames, cut, numbered and packed by construction stage. Complete house and cabin packages. We quote every one of them the same way: material, packing, loading and freight.

A log home keeps you closer to the outdoors than a conventional build, without asking you to give anything up indoors. Ours are drawn for the way people live now and cut from dense, slow-grown Finnish timber, so they stay sound and cheap to heat for generations.
Modern log homes: beautiful, and built to last
A modern log home is not just good to look at. Solid timber takes up and releases moisture as conditions change, and owners tell us that buffering is what makes the indoor air feel comfortable rather than dry. Thick logs insulate as well as they carry load, so heating bills stay low and the rooms stay even in temperature through winter and summer alike. Traditional construction, contemporary design – a house that looks of its time and is built the old way.
Why people choose a log home
- Durability and quality: Log homes are built to last and are designed to retain their value from generation to generation. With proper maintenance, a modern log house can last for generations, making it a great investment.
- Sustainability: The wood materials we use in building log houses bind carbon dioxide and are a renewable resource. Choosing a log house supports an environmentally friendly lifestyle and is a great option for those who value ecological responsibility.
- Humidity buffering: solid timber takes up and releases moisture as conditions change, which many owners find gives a comfortable indoor climate.
- Energy efficiency: A modern log house offers excellent thermal insulation, which means lower energy costs. The unique structure and materials of log houses make them ideal choices when it comes to reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint.
- Timeless design: The beautiful and timeless design of log houses is suitable for both urban and rural settings. This versatility means that a modern log house can be the perfect addition to any environment, whether it’s a peaceful rural landscape or a dynamic city centre.
Certified sustainable
Our logs and beams are PEFC-certified, so the timber comes from forests managed for regrowth and biodiversity. Our CLT panels are made with low-emission adhesive, and the cutting lists are nested to keep offcuts to a minimum, which makes wall panel production close to waste-free. The result is a building that is durable and quiet on the conscience.
Types of log home
A log house is a dream home for many, and there are several options available to suit the needs and desires of different residents. Here, we discuss a few popular log house types and their benefits.
Small log houses Small log houses are the ideal choice if you value compact and efficient living. These houses offer all the benefits of log houses on a smaller scale. They are perfect for a summer home or a first home, for example. Small log houses are also cost-effective and energy-efficient, making them an excellent option for an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Traditional log home While modern log houses combine traditional and contemporary design, many still appreciate the charm of a traditional log house. Traditional log houses offer a classic look and feel, and their structure is based on past building traditions. They are the perfect choice for those who want to preserve tradition and enjoy the warmth and comfort that log houses offer.
Full-package log homes A full-package delivery suits busy families or individuals who want as much as possible to arrive in a single consignment. The package can run from the timber frame all the way to interior materials and fittings; groundwork, foundations and erection on site are carried out by a contractor you appoint. Full packages are designed to meet modern requirements and to keep the number of separate local purchases to a minimum.
SummaryModern, small or traditional – the wall is the same solid timber. The difference is scale and detailing. Modern log houses combine aesthetics and energy efficiency, while small and traditional options highlight the diversity of log houses. A full-package delivery is the most straightforward route, with the fewest separate purchases. Whatever you are after – modern, compact or traditional – we will either have a model close to it or draw one.
